With only 3 part-time paid employees, MasterSingers Omaha is a volunteer-led organization. From our board of directors, to our concert staff, to our singers, each volunteer brings their own skills & enthusiasm to the MasterSingers & makes our organization strong & vital.
Did you know the current national value of an hour of a volunteer's time is $29.95!? With 29 singers in rehearsal for our current concert, logging 870 hours of cumulative rehearsal time, that works out to more than $26,000 in volunteer service! This is only one concert & doesn't include our board members, outside practice, concert day, & hundreds of other jobs that our volunteers tackle every single day of the year. We estimate that our volunteers donate over $100,000 worth of their time over the course of a single season!
